Juliana Trolove Artist Statement

I am a full time artist living in Nelson right by the sea. I love thick oil paint and colour. The point of painting is to give joy to the viewer, evoking fond memories, capturing a moment in time or adding a splash of colour to the wall.

Our lives are filled with serious questions which can be overwhelming at times. My objective in life is to give others the chance of escapism something a bit light and fun. We all need to have a laugh in our lives and not take ourselves too seriously!

So a big beautiful painting with vivid colour and strong brushstrokes or palette knife marks may be just what you need to brighten your day. Enjoy!

Kind regards, Juliana
